Any nature reserve agreement is negotiated directly with the landowner and tailored to the land management needs, the needs of the owner and the results that the Queensland government deems important. As soon as both parties are satisfied with the content of the agreement, the landowner and the Minister of the Environment and the Great Barrier Reef or their delegate sign the agreement. The legacy that can be created by the sustainability of a recurrence agreement is often attractive to landowners who have invested considerable effort in good management, especially for those with a historical or family connection to their property. Nature reserves reflect not only the important values of your land, but also your effective management to conserve it over time. In this way, a statement from nature praises your good land management. An intarifice referred to in the description of the agreement must be subject to a planning fee. A natural shelter is a voluntary agreement between a landowner and the Queensland government. A nature conservation agreement recognizes the obligation to protect land of considerable conservation value, while allowing for compatible and sustainable land use. Landowners with natural refuges continue to own and cultivate their land for profit and/or income. Each natural refuge is negotiated directly with the owner through a natural reducing agreement. From time to time, landowners of natural shelters can benefit from small subsidies for the maintenance and enhancement of their natural refuge.

This financial support is intended for landowners to carry out on-site projects in their nature reserve that improve the sustainable use of the land and face all threats to natural values. The Nature Refuge Landholder Grant pilot program is an example. In the annual report on real estate, the land of the refugee system is divided into three tables: Table 3 Refuges, Table 4 Waterbird Production Areas and Table 5 Coordinating Areas. The classification used in the annual acreage report reflects the organizational structure, not the actual definitions contained in the federal regulations code. In general, the countries in Tables 3 and 4 are in the CFR definition of the National Wildlife Refuge. Cooperation agreements on the management of the land of the refugee system by states include the areas in Tables 3, 4 and 5. The management of Refuge System lands services also includes the three tables. If necessary, the conservation officer will explain the process of developing a natural refuge and designate a natural refuge and will discuss all of the owner`s concerns. If the landowner and the ministry wish to continue, a draft nature protection agreement will be developed in agreement with the landowner. If you decide to sell your property and therefore the natural refuge, please contact your conservation officer.

The nature manager will ensure that the new owners have a copy of the Natural Law Agreement and visit them on site to examine the various aspects of their new location and to ensure that the heritage you have created is well managed in the future. The Natur Refuge Landholder Grant (NRLG) financially supports existing landowners with a nature protection agreement with the department. The grant will help landowners, as part of their nature reserve, implement projects that protect and enhance the important values set out in their conservation agreement.
